OUR INITIATIVES
Currently we are working on creating care packages for women and children in need. These packages will consist of essential items such as personal hygiene products, protective equipment, gift cards and packaged food. For further detail into what will be included in the care packages please visit our Get Involved page. The items in the care packages will be collected in the form of items and financial donations from local businesses and people in the community. These care packages will be delivered to _____ women's shelter on___ 2020.

Hey all! My name is Catalina, or Cat, and I’m currently in Grade 12 at A.B. Lucas Secondary School. I’ve been with COC since August of 2021 and it has been a blast working with everyone! I’ve been on the Marketing team since I first joined so getting to be VP has been one of my favourite things ever to do. If you don’t find me typing away on my computer or nose-deep in a book, I’m probably at rehearsal, getting ready for my theatre shows!

Hi! I’m Keirsten, a Grade 12 student at St. Augustine CHS. I am the co-VP of Outreach at COC and am very excited to be working alongside Maggy this year! I am extremely passionate about empowering vulnerable and marginalized communities. Aside from my work within COC, I volunteer with organizations that provide support for people with disabilities and immigrant youth.

Hey! My name is Shiloh and I'm a student at Tommy Douglas Collegiate in Saskatchewan. I joined Champions of Change during the pandemic lockdown, and I'm so grateful for having had this opportunity to become a part of this youth-led feminist organization! I'm extremely passionate about feminist/social-related issues, which is why I started the Prideful Words initiative and helped with the Purple Box Initiative. I love reading, drawing, and sleeping in late during my spare time!

Hey Everyone! I'm Phoenix and I'm the VP of Marketing! I joined Champions of Change in January of 2021! Before coming VP, I was the Social Media Manager and before that I was a Writer. I'm so happy that I get to be apart of COC and be able to help our organization grow. When I'm not doing VP work or being a student, I'm listening to Taylor Swift or re-watching Gilmore Girls for the millionth time!
