Champions of Change is introducing our paperback book, Not "Why" But "Why Not" , a children's book written by Shiloh Chen and illustrated by Junsoo Pak.

Our goal is to create a storybook for youth, to better understand the LGBTQIA+ community and the issues women in the community face, with proper cultural and racial appreciation and representation.

All profits will be going to The Get REAL Movement, a Toronto-based non-profit combatting LGBTQIA+ discrimination.

Summary.

It’s mid-February when 9 year old Denver Stallard receives a school candy gram from his secret admirer for Valentine’s Day, and he wants to find out who the secret admirer is.

So, he does - but Denver learns much more about himself during the process, thanks to his older sister’s help and best friend’s support, as well as a very interesting soccer game.
